Not every client or partner issues documents with Kargo. When you receive a DeCA with a QR from another platform, the QR scanner lets you bring it into your workflow without duplicate work.
The document is linked to the shipment in Kargo with the same traceability as documents created on the platform: visible to dispatch, admin, and the driver on the road.

Does it work with DeCAs from any platform?
Yes, as long as the document includes a valid QR code linking to the DeCA per BOE-A-2026-12784 requirements.
Do I need Kargo Pro to scan an external QR?
No. QR reading and manual data entry are included in the Kargo plan. Kargo Pro adds the paper document scanner and automatic reading of the PDF linked to the QR.
Can the driver show the document during an inspection?
Yes. Once imported, the document is accessible from the driver app and the office, ready for inspection and billing.
